Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox had studied for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different direction she would take. Lennox began her career as an instrument player with the group Dragons Playground. The group didn't appear on the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. She was the singer of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began working on her solo first album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October 2014. This C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The first single from her debut album, Now I'm Letting You Go... was released as an accompaniment to her installation of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva, which featured several hit songs such as Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album that was released in 1995 features songs that are re-imagined from her biggest hits, such as No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). She has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
